This game turned out as expected to be, Average. The overall tempo of the game was not something you would like in a World Cup game. You might not get to see many games in the tournament with such a low number of star players but this was one of such games.
South Korea handled the match very well. They not only had a sound defense but a decent attack as well. They put in some very good crosses in, which Greek defense was unable to deal with. The attack had pace and Park was creative in the midfield. Lee on the right hand side was good throughout I thought.
Greece on the other hand looked out of sorts. Defense was a bit shaky from the start and attack could not seem to find a way through. Things changed after a couple of substitutions by Greece with Gekas trying to break in, but with no result. They showed some urgency after 65 minutes but South Korea had it under control.
Overall a decent game but not something the football fans were hoping for.
